SLS mini Operating Instructions
Installation of the Skeletal Mapping Application on your iPhone
Download the Skeletal Mapping App from the App Store onto your iPhone.
This is a free third-party app with an operating time limit of 3 minutes, once the 3 minutes have elapsed just press the start button again to resume the mapping program.
Installation of the App to enable Infrared recording on an iPhone
Download the App from the App Store, open the app, and in the right-hand corner are the letters IR. Press the IR letters and this will enable the Infrared mode on the camera, to the left of the screen is a lightbulb icon, press this to enable the infrared lighting.
It is recommended that an additional IR light is added to the cold shoe connection on the top of the camera holder, this will provide additional infrared lighting when you are recording your paranormal investigations.
Connecting your iPhone to the SLS mini camera
Place your iPhone in the camera bracket securely with the screen facing towards you.
Plug the camera connecting cable into the right-hand connection on the side of the camera, and the other end of the cable into the lightning port on the iPhone.
You are now ready to use the SLS mini camera for skeletal mapping.
How to set up your iPhone to enable screen recording
All of the SLS camera and infrared footage can be recorded on the iPhone by enabling the Screen Recording option. This can be actioned by going to Settings >Control Center, then tap the add button+ next to the screen recording, when recording, press the microphone icon to enable the microphone audio option, this will allow for video and audio recording.
How to set the best Screen Lock function for SLS use
You need to turn off the Screen Lock function to prevent the screen from going dark whilst using the SLS mini. To do this go to settings> Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock, then choose Never.
Once you have finished using the SLS mini, you can then reset the Screen Lock back to your preferred setting.
The Apps required to operate the SLS mini camera will be emailed directly to the purchasers upon receipt of payment
